I've been very busy in preparation for the APE Con in San Jose next weekend. Here are three of my latest calendars. If you can't tell, I've been into vintage posters lately. 1950s Rock Legends: Funk and Soul Revue: Cultural Dance:

Floating...

Image
Day one of the San Francisco Comic-Con was a success. I learned a great deal from my experience at the Reno Comic-Con and I applied my new knowledge to this year's show. I got so much love from the crowd that I managed to work in one more piece that will go on sale for Saturday and Sunday> Miss Black Canary joins the Underwater series: SF Comic Con If you're in the area, be sure to check me out!

A little Romance

Image
This will be my last update before the San Francisco Comic Con. I have two more days to produce more work to display at my booth. My latest is a romantic swim between the Joker and Harley Quinn. I enjoyed this underwater series. I will definitely do more of these in the future: San Francisco Comic Con Link By the way, my booth number is A19 (way in the back!). I will be at the con from Friday the 2nd through Sunday the 4th.

Power Swim

Image
Continuing the superheroes under water series. Superman takes a power swim. I love experimenting with shades of blue. It's unusual for me, but I do like the results:

The Greatest

There's a picture of Muhammad Ali underwater in a striking stance. I always liked it and had planned on making a parody of it, but I was never quite sure how. Today, the inspiration hit and I came up with this. It goes with my theme of superheroes underwater: And the original:

Hello Fury

I'm a big fan of Mad Max Fury Road so I came up with this design. It's available now as a tee shirt. Will be selling a print version at the SF Comic Con in September. TeePublic

Can Ya Catch Me?

I was so inspired by Usain Bolt's performance at the Olympics that I came up with this design. :)

Finally finished this piece. My tribute to Prince. It's based on the 'Evolution' posters you probably had in science class: Available as a print at all of my web stores: Society6 TeePublic

2017 Calendar - Literary Classics

Image
On Saturday night, I tool the wife to Barnes and Noble to get the new Harry Potter book (at midnight, mind you). While there, I noticed posters on the wall; large prints of famous book covers. I thought I would play around with the idea of making a calendar out of famous books. I managed to whip this whole thing up in one day. Now for sale at both of my web stores:

New 2017 Calendars

I'm back at it! I know it's been a while since my last post, but I assure you; I have been busy. I took a few months off to move to a new place and get settled. For the past month, however, I've been cranking out new stuff non-stop. The San Francisco Comic-Con is on September 1st, and I'm feeling the pressure. I'll post more details about the Con soon.
